# Joseph Henry Maiden Botanical Texts
Details
Collection Description
A digitised collection of 19 pioneering botanical texts and illustrations by Joseph Henry Maiden (1859-1925). The digitised works were originally published between 1890 and 1933, and feature text descriptions and plates of botanical illustrations of Australian trees and flowering plants with a geographical focus on New South Wales.
This collection was originally created as part of the [Australian Digital Collections](https://digital.library.sydney.edu.au/pages/adc) and the [Sydney Electronic Text and Image Service (SETIS) website](https://digital.library.sydney.edu.au/pages/setis), with content created between 1997 and July 2010.
