### What is the process to apply for a course?

The application process primarily involves gathering documents such as evidence of your academic qualifications and English language proficiency, completing an application form either by yourself or with the help of an authorised agent, and paying an application fee. Some courses may also require additional documentation or an interview.

### What are the key dates for applying and studying?

Semester 1 usually starts in late February and Semester 2 starts at the beginning of August each year. For Semester 1, you usually need to have submitted your application to study by a specific day in January. For Semester 2, it’s usually by mid-June. ### Are there admission pathway options?

Yes, we offer various pathway options.

The [Centre for English Teaching](https://www.sydney.edu.au/study/applying/how-to-apply/international-students/english-language-requirements/centre-for-english-teaching.html) provides direct entry courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Our [University of Sydney Preparation Programs](https://www.sydney.edu.au/study/applying/how-to-apply/international-students/preparation-programs.html) (USPP) are pre-university programs delivered at Taylors College.

We also have [articulation partnerships](https://www.sydney.edu.au/study/applying/how-to-apply/international-students/international-articulation-pathways.html) with international partners, allowing you to start your degree in your home country and complete it in Sydney.

### Do you offer scholarships or other financial aid or assistance?

### Can I study online?

We do offer some fully online courses but they are not eligible for students on a student visa. Students on a student visa are required to study on campus. Visa regulations impose limits on online study.
