Part-Time Applicants

All programs consider applications for part-time study. Students enrolled part-time take courses alongside full-time students, at a reduced course load of 3.0 full credit equivalents for the Fall-Winter sessions (maximum of 1.5 full credit equivalents per term).

Students must complete their degree within nine years and may apply to transfer into full-time studies upon completion of all first-year courses. It is not possible to complete the program on evenings or weekends as all Engineering courses are scheduled during the day. The academic requirements for part-time students are the same as full-time admission requirements.

Individuals who have already obtained an undergraduate engineering degree from a recognized university are not eligible to apply for degree level undergraduate studies in engineering at the University of Toronto.
