Elizabeth Parke
Faculty Programming Development Officer
Elizabeth joined the CRIS team from UTM in 2022, where she was the Senior Research Associate for Collaborative Digital Research. Elizabeth has tremendous experience working closely with humanities and social science researchers and we are thrilled to have her leading the development of programming to align with our Researcher Development Framework.
Holly Shulman
Senior Analyst, Rankings
Holly coordinates the University’s submissions to international rankings organizations and leads analysis to supports our culture of data-driven decision-making that aligns with the University’s research strategic objectives. She brings several years of experience within the university ranking field. Holly holds a PhD in Medical Geography from the University of Leeds and has worked in academia for several years.
Jackie Marculescu
Programming & Events Coordinator
Jackie works closely with the partners to coordinate events, create communications, and oversee website maintenance highlighting resources and supports for the U of T community. She has experience in the events field, with a background ranging from the non-profit film sector to the academic research environment.
Krystyna Kongats
Manager, CRIS Operations & Programs
Krystyna leads the planning and delivery of programs, services, and digital platforms that advance researcher development, including management of the CRIS Collaboration Space. She holds a PhD in Public Health and has extensive experience working across disciplines to build partnerships and collaborative research environments.
Stephanie Scodras
Research Tools & Technology Liaison
Stephanie develops programming and resources to connect researchers to innovative research tools and technology. She holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Toronto and, brings her many years of research and teaching experience to the role.
Shirley Chung
Special Project Officer
Shirley is responsible for the planning and execution of projects that advance research impact, foster inclusive excellence, and support mentorship activities at the University. She holds a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering and has several years of experience working in the federal research funding space.
Vinita Haroun
Director, CRIS
Vinita joined the University of Toronto in July 2019 as the founding director of the Centre for Research & Innovation Support. Vinita works closely with our faculty and partners across the University to develop and promote programming and resources to support research across all of our campuses.

Adya Agarwal
Work Study Student
Adya is a work-study student at CRIS. She contributes to a variety of projects focused on dataset validation, workshop planning, and environmental scans. She is completing her Bachelor of Commerce at Rotman Commerce, specializing in Strategy & Innovation and Data Science, with a minor in Economics. Adya is passionate about applying data and design thinking to make research more accessible and impactful across the university.
Sherry Du
Researcher Development Intern
Sherry is a Researcher Development Intern at CRIS. Alongside the CRIS Team, Sherry is co-facilitating the Winter 2026 Faculty Writing Accelerator: Crafting Competitive Grant Proposals for any Discipline program. During her HBSc, she minored in Biomedical Communications. Currently, she is also a PhD Candidate in the Dept of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Ultimately, Sherry enjoys simplifying complex information across many audiences.
