On behalf of everyone at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing I want to express my deepest sorrow and anger at the senseless killing of four members of a Muslim family in London, Ontario. To our Muslim students, faculty, alumni and friends, we cannot fathom the burden of despair you must be carrying, after this horrific attack of terror and hatred.  There is no place for Anti-Muslim hate in our systems of education, health and society as a whole, and it must end.

For members of our U of T community who wish to speak with someone or receive additional support, here are some resources available 24/7 through the [MySSP](https://mentalhealth.utoronto.ca/my-student-support-program/) app or by calling 1-844-451-9700 / 1-416-380-6578. Muslim students can also access the counselling services of the Muslim Chaplaincy <https://studentlife.utoronto.ca/directory-of-chaplains/>. Staff and faculty may access support through the [Employee & Family Assistance Program](https://hrandequity.utoronto.ca/employees/efap/).
