# Accept Your Offer of Admission

**Source**: https://admit.stanford.edu/next-steps/accept
**Parent**: https://admit.stanford.edu/next-steps/sunetid

To confirm your enrollment, log in to your [Stanford portal](https://apply.stanford.edu/status), complete the Admission Response form, and submit the non-refundable deposit of $200 by the enrollment deadline. If paying this deposit will impose a hardship and you have received a financial aid notification, you may select the “Request to defer payment to Autumn Quarter” option.

If you plan to attend Stanford, but would like to [defer your enrollment](/next-steps/accept/defer-enrollment "Deferring Your Enrollment (Taking a Gap Year)") (take a gap year), submit your request through the Admission Response form in your [Stanford portal](https://apply.stanford.edu/status).

## NOTICE

We expect you to return a strong performance in the academic courses reported in your application. If you plan to make any changes to these courses, you must submit the Course Change Request Form in your [Stanford portal](http://apply.stanford.edu/status). Any changes must be approved in advance by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Please take note of due dates for midyear transcripts, final transcripts and official testing.

### Admission Conditions

We are confident you will complete your final year with the same level of excellence presented in your application. However, Stanford reserves the right to withdraw your offer of admission if:

- you show a significant drop in academic performance or fail to graduate;
- there has been a misrepresentation in the application process;
- we learn that you have engaged in behavior prior to the first day of enrolled attendance that indicates a serious lack of judgment or integrity;
- you alter your class/course schedule without prior approval from the Office of Undergraduate Admission; or
- you are holding a place, past our enrollment response deadline, in the first-year or transfer class of a college other than Stanford.
