"The A³C served as a crucial support network – it allowed me to succeed in school and gave me the opportunity to grow as a student leader…it was through the A³C that I found strong mentorship and other students with shared experiences."

The A³C Speaker Series is a lunch series featuring faculty, staff and off-campus professionals speaking on issues pertaining to academics, career options, public service and other topics. The purpose of the Speaker Series is to introduce undergraduate students to resources available on campus and encourage open discussions about various topics pertinent to the Asian American community. The general format of speaker series is very informal, allowing the speakers and students to interact in an intimate setting.

Freshmen in particular benefit from speaker series in the fall because topics help first-year students make a smooth transition to college life and provide an opportunity to meet various faculty and staff through informal lunchtime talks. The line-up for each quarter changes according to the needs and interests expressed by students.
