When you apply to Stanford, you apply to the university as a whole, not to a particular major, department or school. As a result, no specific courses are required. Visit the Stanford Majors page for more details.

Note: If you have already earned a bachelor's degree, you cannot apply to Stanford as a first-year or transfer applicant. You will need to apply for graduate admission. Information about graduate programs can be found on the Stanford Graduate Admissions website.

Information regarding the cost of attendance (including tuition), financial aid and CSS fee waivers can be found on the Financial Aid Website and Frequently Asked Questions page.

Instructions on how to request an application fee waiver can be found on the Application Fee/Fee Waiver for First-Year Applicants | Application Fee/Fee Waiver for Transfer Applicants.
