# Undergraduate Visiting Research Interns (UGVI)

For June start dates, the deadline to submit your request for UGVIs to Non-Degree Admissions is April 1, 2026. Once approved by Non-Degree Admissions, the deadline to submit your completed UGVI DS-2019 application to Bechtel is April 15, 2026 by 5pm.\

For July start dates, the deadline to submit your request for UGVIs to Non-Degree Admissions is May 1, 2026. Once approved by Non-Degree Admissions, the deadline to submit your completed UGVI DS-2019 application to Bechtel is May 15, 2026 by 5pm.\

Due to the high number of UGVI applications and current visa processing issues in embassies and consulates abroad, the final deadline for submitting a completed UGVI application is a strict deadline.  This is to provide students with a realistic time frame in which to obtain their visas abroad and make it to Stanford campus by the start date on their DS-2019s. This is a strict deadline and applications must be filled out **completely** by the dates mentioned above in order to be considered for processing. No requests will be accepted after these dates. Please be aware that all Intern participants must adhere to a 3-week minimum program duration, and all intern programs must end by Aug. 31.
