The Australian Centre for Indigenous History was established in 2003. We conduct collaborative and individual research projects on Australian, comparative and trans-national Indigenous history.
We aim to create a stimulating and supportive environment for doctoral students, and teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Indigenous history.
We host the journal [*Aboriginal History*](http://history.cass.anu.edu.au/centres/acih/aboriginal-history-journal), which was founded at ANU in 1977.
With the assistance of generous sponsors, we offer the [Minoru Hokari Scholarship](https://study.anu.edu.au/scholarships/find-scholarship/minoru-hokari-memorial-scholarship) for fieldwork in Indigenous history.
