# Microsoft 365 (M365)

M365 (previously known as O365/Office 365) is a suite of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and others, that can be accessed from your desktop computer, laptop, or a smart device.

M365 comes with numerous benefits such as modern look and feel, seamless integration across other Microsoft applications and accessibility features (e.g., the dictate function). It also provides an email protection from malware, anti-spam filtering and strengthened data security keeping your data safe.

All ANU staff, students, researchers, and academics can access M365 for free. This access will deactivate upon leaving the University.
