Geographic information and mapping.

ArcGIS is a geographic information software for mapping, spatial analysis and data visualisation. It provides functionality for advanced cartography, geoprocessing and spatial modelling. It enables users to view, create, edit and analyse 2D and 3D geospatial data and maps.

ArcGIS is used by environmental scientists for land-use planning, resource management, spatial decision-making and complex geospatial workflows.

How to access

The University has a Limited Licence for ArcGIS. It can be installed through Company Portal (Windows).

For support with access allocation and installation, please submit a Software Request ticket through the ANUConnect portal.
