Applicants may receive diversity adjustment factors if they are identified as belonging to a group that may be eligible for additional support to help achieve a balanced student cohort at ANU.
Applicants do not need to apply for these diversity adjustment factors. They are automatically added to an applicant’s selection rank in accordance with the relevant schedule.

An additional sub-scheme is available to applications for Semester 1, 2027 onwards to the Bachelor of Design, the Bachelor of Visual Arts and the Bachelor of Music.
Applicants to these programs may submit a portfolio of original creative work to support their application. A satisfactory portfolio may provide an adjustment factor of up to 10 points.
