## Graduate Prospects

BMS graduates acquire different skill sets that will help them shine in both academia and the industrial sectors, including but not limited to having a strong, broad-based foundation and advanced specialized knowledge in selected areas in biomedical sciences and research; critical and creative thinking, a good understanding of the policy issues and strategic management pertaining to the healthcare sector, practical and hands-on training in a biomedical research laboratory or within an industrial setting and effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Prepare candidates to pursue a career as “Clinical Geneticist” or related to Genetic Counselling.

### CUHK Professional Programme in Regulation of Advanced Therapy Products

**Authorized Person** is a new profession for advanced therapeutic products (CAR-T, stem cell) whose registration is under the Department of Health.

### Study Option with The University of Manchester

A special BSc-MSc track for CUHK Biomedical Sciences students. Students will complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at CUHK and one of the following Master’s degrees at The University of Manchester
