### **DSPS Programme is for students who:**

- **have a strong interest in BOTH data science and public policy;**
- **enjoy a social science perspective of inquiry;**

- **strive to acquire broad and transferable knowledge and skills that enable them to take diverse career paths.**

### **Admission through JUPAS (Code: JS4893)**

**Applicants are required to fulfill both the [minimum University requirements](http://admission.cuhk.edu.hk/jupas/requirements.html) and Programme requirements.****DSPS Programme requirements are as follows:**

### **Admission through Mainland (Gaokao)**

**Applicants who fulfilled the [University requirements](https://admission.cuhk.edu.hk/sc/mainland/requirements.html) can be considered for admission to DSPS Programme as follows:**

**Applicants can choose to be admitted to DSPS Programme during the first year of attendance; OR**

**Applicants can choose to be admitted to the Faculty of Social Science during the first year of attendance and declare DSPS as major programme starting from the second year of attendance.**

### **Admission through Non-JUPAS Local^ & International Students Admissions Scheme**

1. **Applicants should fulfill the University General Entrance Requirements.**
