## JUPAS

The minimum admission requirements for local secondary students on the strength of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) results:

Four Core Subjects

Chinese Language^

Level 3

English Language\*

Level 3

Mathematics (compulsory part)

Level 3

Citizenship and Social Development

Attained

Two Electives

Biology\* or Chemistry\*

Level 3

Any one Category A subject

Level 3

***\* Subjects with 1.5 weighting: English, Biology, Chemistry.***

Bonus points will be awarded to students with the third and fourth elective subjects with Level 3 or above.

Admission interview will be arranged after the release of HKDSE result. Applicants who rank our Programme in **Band A** will be selected for admission interview.

^ Non-Chinese Speaking applicants should not have taken the Chinese Language subject in HKDSE and should have obtained a pass grade or above in a Chinese subject or in another language subject (other than English and Chinese) in other recognized public examinations as approved by the University from time to time.

> Note: The Programme will accept “Attained with Distinction” in the following Applied Learning (ApL) Subjects as the 3rd or 4th elective subject for awarding bonus points: Applied Business Research, Entrepreneurship for SME, Marketing in Global Trade, Understanding Hong Kong Law, Foundation in Chinese Medicine, Fundamental Health Care, Health Care Practice, Medical Laboratory Science.
