ルールの形成と適用の具体例に接し、法学の基本的な土地勘を得ることを目標とします。 質問等があれば、初学者になぜわかりにくいのかを含めて一緒に考えます。それが土地勘の言語化につながると考えています。 次の①・②の内容を織り交ぜながら授業を進めることを考えています。修正があり得ます。 ① 制度を体系的に把握する。フリーランス法、景品表示法、スマホ法などのうちいくつかを取り上げる。 ② 事例に触れる。『分野別・争点別 ITビジネス判例・事例ガイド』のうち、特に「3 ネットサービス」の事例を読む。 セメスター終盤の1コマに、ゲストとして実務家の先生にお越しいただく予定です。

政治分析方法論とは、政治に関する数量データを統計分析する方法に関する学問分野である。例えば、政策に所期の因果的効果がどれほどあるか、社会に隠されている不正や偏見はどのようなものか、などといった問いに答えるにはどのような方法を用いればよいのかを検討する。政治分析方法論Ⅱも受講することで、政治現象を分析するのに必要にして十分な統計分析の方法を体系的に修得し、自分でデータ分析できるようになることが到達目標である。究極的には、政治学の最前線の論文を読み、それと同等の論文が書けるようになること、少なくとも本講義受講後は自力でそこまで辿り着けるようになれることまでを目指している。統計分析が役に立つことを伝えたいと考えている。 概要は、まず前半で、標準的な前提が成り立つ（きれいな）場合の統計分析を講義する。次いで後半で、標準的な前提が成り立たない（きれいでない）場合にどう対応すればよいかを、因果推論を軸に解説する。統計分析ソフトウェアRを用いる。シミュレーションを多用し、直感的な理解を助ける。社会科学の統計分析としては、初級から中級程度の内容である。

臨床や教育、また日常の至る場面において、ケアの重要性が盛んに指摘されている。にもかかわらず、その内実は十分には吟味されていない。こういった現状を踏まえ、現代倫理の鍵概念となった「ケア」について、その複雑さと困難さを尊重する仕方で、批判的に考察していきたい。 より具体的には、英語圏で1980年代以降に登場してきたケアの倫理（Ethics of Care）においてケア、またそれらの概念と不可分な、ニーズ・応答責任（responsibility）・脆弱性（vulnerability）・依存性（dependency）・受容性（receptivity）といった概念が、どのようなものとして捉えられてきたのかを検討する。とりわけ、ケアの倫理の代表的な論者であるキャロル・ギリガン、ネル・ノディングズ、エヴァ・キテイの議論を丁寧に見ていくことで、人間の傷つきやすさと依存性を根本に据えるケアの倫理が、主流の倫理学（もちろん一枚岩ではないが）に対して、どのような独自の貢献をしうるのかを考察したい。
