On Friday, July 28 at 19:00, as Dialogue at UTokyo GlobE ＃2,「Talk event with Prof. Jeffrey Sachs (University Professor of Columbia University) and President Teruo Fujii」was held. Following a lecture titled "The New Politics of Sustainable Development" by Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, who serves as the Director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University and as the head of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network at the United Nations, a discussion with President Fujii was moderated by Prof. Naoko Ishii, Executive Vice President, and it was followed by a Q&A session with approximately 100 students. The Q&A session was so lively that the questions from the students seemed endless, and the responses from Prof. Jeffrey Sachs and President Fujii were passionate, resulting in the session significantly exceeding its scheduled time and concluding on a high note.\ \
