On September 26, an orientation and welcome event for newly admitted students of the University-wide Student Exchange Program (USTEP) took place at the iconic Yasuda Auditorium. This October, 164 outstanding undergraduate students from partner universities around the world arrived in Tokyo to begin their USTEP Type U exchange at the University of Tokyo. These students are now attending classes at both the Hongo and Komaba campuses. The orientation program featured an introduction to faculty members affiliated with GlobE (the Center for Global Education), offering students a valuable opportunity to connect with those who will support them during their academic journey in Japan. \ \
