2024's interactive event with students of Rutgers University (The United States)

On Wednesday, July 10, seven UTokyo undergraduate students who signed up for the Go Global Gateway (GGG) program joined an interactive event with 13 students of Rutgers University, the United States. Students had discussion in small groups over lunch, and then attended a lecture by Professor Yujin Yaguchi (Director of the Center for Global Education, UTokyo), titled “Remembering the Pacific-Asia War in Japan.” It was a fulfilling international exchange experience for students from both sides as they actively exchanged opinions and learned about the differences in cultural perspectives.
