“Evening Gathering at UTokyo GlobE Student Plaza #1” was held

On Wednesday, July 5, “Evening Gathering at UTokyo GlobE Student Plaza #1” was held on the University campus with the aim of promoting an international exchange. 11 Ukrainian students / researchers, who were accepted onto the Emergency Relief Program for Scholars and Students at Risk Following the Invasion of Ukraine by Russia (*1), joined along with 28 undergraduate students (Go Global Gateway (GGG) registrants) (*2) . The gathering provided participants with an opportunity to engage in free conversations and deepen mutual understanding. Some Ukrainian attendees dressed in yukata (summer kimono) for the first time, which delighted them very much. The event concluded on a friendly note.
