###### Research Interests

I am studying upper-ocean circulation using observations. In cooperation with modeling and biogeochemical researchers, we investigate large-scale circulation based on measurements by satellites and a recently completed global ocean observing network called Argo, as well as mesoscale circulation by planning and conducting shipboard observations. Deep-ocean observations are also planned.
