## Distinguished Research Professors

In 2023 the Graduate School of Economics, Kyoto University, established the Distinguished Research Professorship to recognize and encourage further achievements by faculty members of the Graduate School of Economics who have made outstanding academic achievements. Faculty members who are selected as a Distinguished Research Professor will be given the title of Distinguished Research Professor (or Associate Professor) for one year and will be granted a half-year period of sabbatical leave. Their outstanding achievements will also be reflected in their performance evaluation.
