• Applicants who have already obtained or will obtain a Master’s degree including an MBA by the enrollment day at Kyoto University.

NOTICE: Applicants who have graduated or expect to graduate from non-Japanese universities are required to go through the screening process by the Admissions Assistance Office (AAO) as a Pre-Application procedure. Please check the details on Kyoto University’s website and also refer to the Application Guidelines above. *The AAO screening process commonly takes a few weeks before we receive the feedback from AAO. Please begin the AAO procedure at least two weeks before the deadline for the application submission via e-mail. 【Important notice: Change in the AAO Screening Process】 (Updated on 15th January 2021) Please note the following change in the AAO process started 2021 entrance examination. Applicants will be asked to name a prospective supervisor who you think would best suit your research theme in the process of AAO screening. He or she will check your application documents and inform you of whether you can move to the next step. Please don’t contact the named professor directly without his/her approval. The system has already updated.
