- Southeast Asia is foremost diverse regions in the fields examined by the Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations.

Therefore, the curriculum aims to develop comprehensive understudying of pre-modern and modern aspects of each region, and aware of commonalities and differences among diverse countries, religions and cultures.

Contents of education

- Language education
- Open courses of Malay-Indonesian and Vietnamese. Furthermore, encourage students to have advanced skills to be able to actually work in the local areas.
- Plan on opening other Southeast Asian language courses such as Thai depending on the demand.
