## Make your CV stand out by entering a competition, award or prize

Competitions, prizes and awards are a great way for you to gain experience for your CV and often some cash or work experience. Many competitions require you to work in a team / produce innovative ideas / work to a brief / write a report, all great skills to put on your CV even if you don't win!

Most recently added competitions at the top. Many run every year, check entry and closing dates. This page is updated regularly as new competitions open, so check back!

- [Airbus Fly Your Ideas (2026)](http://www.airbus.com/fyi-competition) Get involved in a global student innovation, team challenge focused on digital solutions for future aerospace systems. Explore the digital technologies needed to keep data, networks and operations safe and secure. Open to Bachelor's, Masters' and PhD students. All entrants will recieve digital certificates as well as industry mentors. Finalists will recieve a guaranteed internship and career coaching, while the winning team will recieve an invitation to join Airbus at Farnborough International Airshow. Closing date: 24th March 12:00pm (CET).
- [2026 True North: Scholarship for Women](https://www.bain.com/careers/work-with-us/internships-programs/true-north-scholarship-for-women-london/) Gain an insight into working at top consulting firm, Bain. Attend a 2-day workshop in London, creating valuable connections and having the chance to win a £10,000 scholarship award. Applications are open to penultimate year undergraduate students who identify as a woman. Closing date: 20th April 23:59 (BST)
