Student life at Manchester

Student life at Manchester

We’re excited to welcome you to Manchester and for you to join our University community.

There's so much to discover and be part of, from exploring the campus and city to joining the Students' Union and making friends.

Explore Manchester together

We round up the best cheap activities in the city for you and your mates.

You’ll make lots of new friends during your time here – and there’s an amazing city right on your doorstep to explore together.

In this video, we set two teams of students a challenge: in just two hours, how many fun cheap things could they find to do? With bars, coffee shops, museums, shopping and great food to enjoy, watch them rise to the task and find out what kind of activities they got up to.
