**Buddies**: Contact an [UMBUG Buddy](http://umbug.manchester.ac.uk/buddies/) for advice, support or a guided cycle along safe routes to the Oxford Road Corridor.

**Cycle Marking**: The University offers a free overt [bike marking service](http://www.estates.manchester.ac.uk/services/security/ourservices/crimereduction/cyclesecurity/) for all students and staff.

**Subsidised Gold Standard Locks**: Staff and students can purchase excellent quality [subsidised bike locks](http://www.estates.manchester.ac.uk/services/security/ourservices/crimereduction/cyclesecurity/) for only £15 (RRP £40).

**Biko Bikes**: The Student Union runs a [bike hire scheme](https://en-gb.facebook.com/umsubikes/) whereby abandoned bicycles are donated by Security, refurbished and then hired out to students.
