## Improving eProg Security

We are improving eProg security, by applying multi-factor authentication. You will now need to use Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the eProg system. Duo adds an extra layer of security to protect your account and further information can be found here at [Duo for staff and PGRs (The University of Manchester)](https://www.itservices.manchester.ac.uk/ourservices/ "https://www.itservices.manchester.ac.uk/ourservices/"). We will confirm the launch date of multi factor authentication as soon as possible.

## Improving the online staff experience

My Manchester uses the University's **Central Authentication Service** (CAS). When you attempt to logon you will be directed to the CAS logon page. When you have successfully logged on you will then be redirected to the appropriate page.
