Personal care support
How can personal care support help me?
You may benefit being assessed for personal care support if you find that you need help with any of the following activities:
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Getting up or going to bed
- Washing or bathing
- Going to the toilet
- Getting dressed
- Cleaning your room
- Socialising outside of university study contact hours
- Help with travelling around campus outside of study hours.
If you struggle with any of the activities above, having personal care support may help you.
How do I get it?
You need to start the process of getting personal care support as early as possible, and should read our advice on getting personal care support.
