Completion of the Notice of Submission Form by the student within eProg – My eProg > My Examination Summary\ Note: The Notice of Submission Form is available up to 6 months before the thesis submission deadline and should be completed 4-6 weeks before the thesis deadline.

Completion of the Notice of Submission Form (Supervisor) by the main supervisor within eProg – My eProg > My Examination Tasks\ Note: Supervisor completion of the notice form opens the electronic submission window in eThesis

Completion of the Nomination of Examiners Form by the main supervisor within eProg – My eProg > My Examination Tasks

Approval of examiners by the PGR Tutor or Director within eProg

Submission of a PDF document within eProg - My eProg > My eThesis Tasks

Thesis examination by examiners

Viva exam

Examiner recommendations

Minor corrections or resubmission (this will begin the process again with a Notice of Resubmission appearing within eProg)

Corrections approved by internal examiner and confirmed in eProg (minor corrections only)

Ratification of result by the Research Degrees Panel

Electronic submission window opened by the Doctoral Academy office following confirmation of corrections

Students who request that their thesis should be examined under restriction should complete the Restriction Form and submit this signed form with their thesis.
