Careers support and advice
Navigating the UK job market for the first time can feel overwhelming. Whatever your area of study and career goals, our Careers Service are here to support you. They provide information and guidance on the UK jobs market, work experience and your options for finding employment in the UK after you graduate.
In addition to online guidance, the Careers Service runs in-person events on campus, including one-to-one appointments.

International Society
Moving to a new country to attend university can be daunting. Part of Manchester’s Students' Union, the International Society is here to help both home and international students settle into student life, meet new people and make new friends. It also hosts events and day trips throughout the year, providing you with the opportunity to explore more of the UK and try new things.
The International Society is based at the activities office on the first floor of the Students' Union Building, just off The Hive.
The Society also holds a weekly social every Wednesday and Friday from 3pm to 5pm in The Nest, located on the ground floor of the Students’ Unions Building just off The Exhibition Space.
