Careers Service

Explore your options, getting started.

People explore their career or future job options in different ways and at different times. You will have individual skills, goals, values, and possibly some limiting factors that need to be considered when making career choices.

When should I start?

Some people have a career plan mapped out while they are at school while other people react to opportunities as they come along later in life. Ether approach is fine, but taking advantage of the opportunity to explore options and get support while you are at University is never a bad thing.

Where do I start?

Many jobs and careers are open to graduates from any degree while others require specialist study or skills and experience gained through work.

Feeling demotivated or overwhelmed? We have advice and resources to help you get back on track.

Ready to explore?

Getting some work experience can be a great way to help you decide on career and job options as well as building skills for your CV.
