## Operational Services

Operational Services combine Car Parks, Environmental Services and House Services into one Unit. A summary of the services they provide are as follows and details of each unit can be found in the left hand panel:

**Car Parks**

- Provide public car parking at five locations around campus
- Provide staff parking at key access points around campus
- Providing access to secure cycle shelters for staff and postgraduate students
- Permit administration for staff and visitor parking

**Environmental Services**

- Waste management of recycling schemes and waste disposal contracts
- Waste advice via the Waste Co-ordinator
- Planning and maintenance of landscape areas across the University Estate
- Campus Cleansing in relation to the Environmental Protection Act 1990

**House Services**

Building cleaning is the primary function of House Services but as can be seen below the operation encompasses much more than this:

Carpet Cleaning, Clinical Waste, Examinations, Fault Reporting, Feminine Hygiene, Furniture Removal/Relocations, Graduation, Laundry, Lost Property, Out of Hours Events, Pest control, Portering, Postal Services, Room Set Ups and Window Cleaning.
