Make your CV stand out by entering a competition, award or prize

Competitions, prizes and awards are a great way for you to gain experience for your CV and often some cash or work experience. Many competitions require you to work in a team / produce innovative ideas / work to a brief / write a report, all great skills to put on your CV even if you don't win!

L'Oreal Brandstorm Competition Annual competition to innovate the next generation of retail. The 2025 winners got a free Adobe account and a 3-month internship in L'Oreal Paris. Closing date: check site
Accuracy Construction Championship 2026 A competition in construction project advisory, offering an opportunity for students to test their skills in a real-life construction advisory case study. Students will get a free trip to Accuracy's offices in London and will get the chance to network with consultants in the evening awards ceremony in March 2026. Awards are valued at around £100 pp. Closing date: 30th January 2026, 12:00 (GMT)
Accuracy Business Cup Complete a finance and strategy projects competition, as a group of three, focused on the automotive sector. If you're selected for the competition you will receive a free trip to London. If you win the competition, you will receive a free trip to Paris. Closing Date: 31 January 2026, 23:59 (GMT). \
