If you are on a 3 or 4-year PhD programme, your continuation report will be submitted towards the end of your first year. This assessment takes the form of a written report and oral examination.

Many students find this report to be a useful opportunity to reflect on their programme and set out their plans for the forthcoming year.

More information on the continuation report can be found in the PGR Student Handbook.

You can also sign up for a training session via the Training Catalogue (FBMHS1022 - First Year: Continuation Report and Viva Success).
