Learning a language
Local further education colleges usually provide a range of GCSE and A-levels in languages. However beginners' courses and other certificated courses may be obtained from a range of providers.

- L'Alliance Française de Manchester French courses
- Instituto Cervantes of Manchester Spanish courses
You will find a variety of online course providers available often taking students from all over the world. Check the syllabus and certification / awards if it is important for you to reach a specific language accreditation level.
Consider using language apps to get you started, many are free and give you the opportunity to see if it's something you enjoy.
