Our taught master's courses provide one year (full-time) or two years (part-time) of study in the following areas.

History of Science, Technology and Medicine (HSTM)

This master's course focuses on 19th and 20th century science, technology and medicine, their social and cultural backgrounds, and their implications for the present and future.

Science and Health Communication

This master's course combines a theoretical grounding in history and policy studies with insight and experience from print and broadcast journalism, museums and public events, public policy and advocacy, and other professional fields.

It is a vocationally focused course combining theory and hands-on practice for roles in areas including media, public events and policy work.
