"What if I have questions around Sex work*?"
The Careers Service takes a non-judgemental approach to our students who choose to explore or engage in sex work. Whilst we do not advertise sex work opportunities on our jobs portal, we can refer you to support teams across the University who provide information and can help to keep you safe.
At the University:
- Our Student Support staff are trained to understand the issues of working in the sex industry.
- The Students Union Advice Centre is a free, impartial and confidential service for students on all student concerns. They are happy to discuss any sex work concerns with you.
The following organisations also offer advice and support:
- Support For Student Sex Workers: Support and Advice for students
- National Ugly Mugs: Ending Violence Against Sex Workers
- Revenge Porn Helpline 0345 6000 459
*Sex work refers to the exchange of sexual services, both involving direct physical contact and indirect sexual stimulation, for money or goods.
