# UW Trash Art Contest

Would you be willing to share info about the contest with interested students? Or offer extra credit if they make an art piece for the contest?

Participants create art pieces from items normally thought of as trash. The contest is open to all UW students, faculty and staff. Winners of each category will receive $100 or $50 e-gift cards to a zero waste shop.

Categories include:

- 3D art
- 2D art
- Textile art

Artwork is submitted digitally through an online form. Submissions are due March 27, 2026.
