The Promise Campaign

The Promise Campaign is a temporary exhibition space designed to educate the public on sex trafficking. It is located in Seattle, WA, which is ranked third in the nation for sex trafficking. Visitors are lured into the space just like young women are coaxed into this trade, by false promises a pimp will say to his victims. Once inside, visitors experience testimonies from six local women by listening on a telephone as well as reading shorter excerpts on the wall. The walls are full lengths mirrors designed to put the viewer in the shoes of the young women.
