# Info Sessions & Workshops

Our team is here to support students in their application journey through info sessions, workshops and one-on-one advising. Throughout the summer and ahead of the Autumn 2026 application deadline we will offer:

- **Info sessions** to help students learn about the Mary Gates Leadership and Research Scholarships, eligibility, requirements and the application components. Info session videos are also available for students to explore [here](https://expd.uw.edu/mge/getting-started/).
- **“Reworking your Mary Gates application” workshops** to support previous applicants in strengthening their application as they prepare to re-apply in Autumn 2026.
- **“Getting started on your Mary Gates application” workshops** for students who may need the support or motivation to start their Mary Gates Leadership and Research application.
- **Application workshops** to help applicants develop their research/leadership idea, describe their project, plan and goals, and make steady progress on their application ahead of the deadline.
- **Drop-in feedback workshops** to offer feedback on application essay and materials.
