# Tet-tet's Tangerines

Anna Luters, *Tet-tet's Tangerines*, 2025.

"Through photos and physical objects, my work focuses on the bittersweetness of the passage of time and the nostalgic quality of that feeling. While sentimentality can be soft and beautiful, it can also be a little scary to think about how things aren’t the same. By re-imagining these ideas in a tactile way, I am able to build upon the images that I take. Through my practice, I capture my relationships with people, places and time, and how seeing those relationships change can be dreamy while also uncomfortable."\

Anna Luters is an artist who grew up in Seattle, Washington. As the granddaughter of Latvian immigrants, Luters has learned to prioritize their loved ones and authentic relationships in both their personal life and artwork. Luters really enjoys taking photos of the people they love and is passionate about mixed-media work. Besides that, they love the color red, sharks, petting dogs, making playlists, and wearing the same exact rings every day.
