The UW is home to over 8,000 international students representing more than 100 countries. ISS staff advises international students with F-1 or J-1 visas who are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and professional degree programs on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington.

International Student Health Insurance Program - ISHIP

ISHIP coverage is provided to meet the health insurance requirement by international students at UW.

First Year Programs - FYP

FYP provides Advising & Orientation (A&O) sessions where undergraduate students connect with an adviser, select and register for classes, and learn how to get involved at UW.

Foundation for International Understanding Through Students - FIUTS

FIUTS is an organization at UW that helps build community and enhanced experiences for international students. FIUTS hosts International Welcome Weeks, Embark sessions, arrival information, homestay & and can help with temporary housing.
