Accommodation fee payments are collected in arrears, which means that students are not asked to pay their accommodation fees in advance of starting their lease.

As the contract is with the student, all communications will be sent to their student email address.\ For data protection, if a student wants us to share this information with someone else, they will need to give us their consent by emailing us accom.rentenquiries@ed.ac.uk

UG (September to May)
Pay in Semester Instalments Pay in Monthly Instalments
3 instalments 1st October, 1st January and 1st April 8 instalments divided equally 1st October, 1st November, 1st December, 1st January, 1st February, 1st March, 1st April and 1st May (for leases starting in September)

PG  (September to August)
Pay in Semester Instalments Pay in Monthly Instalments
4 Instalments 1st October, 1st January, 1st April and 1st July 10 instalments divided equally 1st October, 1st November, 1st December, 1st January, 1st February, 1st March, 1st April, 1st May, 1st June and 1st July (for leases starting in September)
