Entry requirements for applicants with Cambridge Pre-U qualifications.
If you are studying the Cambridge Pre-U Diploma, or combinations of individual Pre-U subjects and A level subjects, you are required to achieve three subjects in a suitable subject combination and normally in one set of exams.
Where our entry requirements are expressed in terms of A levels, we will consider Pre-U subjects and combinations of individual Pre-U and A level subjects.
- Where Grade A at A level is required we will ask for D3 in the Pre-U Principal Subject.
- Where Grade B at A level is required we will ask for M2 in the Pre-U Principal Subject.

GCSEs required for entry
We require you to achieve at least a GCSE in some subjects.
Entry requirements
You should have achieved (or be predicted to achieve) our entry requirements, including required subjects, for the degree programme you have applied for.
For some degree programmes, we may be able to consider all applicants who meet the entry requirements. For highly selective degree programmes we may only be able to consider candidates who exceed the requirements, as these degree programmes attract many highly qualified applicants.
