Tuition fees for part-time undergraduate study in 2026-2027.
Annual tuition fee
The tuition fees published below are for 2026-2027 only. Tuition fees for future years of study may increase.
Home-Scotland fees are set by the Scottish Government and Home-RUK & ROI (Rest of UK and Republic of Ireland) fees are set by the UK Government. The fee for new and continuing students in academic year 2025-2026 is £9,535.
Rest of UK (RUK) part-time student fees*
Tuition fees for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (RUK) and for Republic of Ireland (RoI) and the Channel Island (CI) are charged the Rest of UK Rate of Fee. For RUK, RoI and CI students commencing or continuing their studies in September 2026, the tuition fees will be:
- £9,790 for the 2026-2027 academic year (subject to Parliamentary approval). This is an increase of £255 on the fee rate for academic year 2025-2026.
- £10,050 for the 2027-2028 academic year (subject to Parliamentary approval). This is an increase of £260 on the fee rate for academic year 2026-2027.
This is in line with the maximum fee cap announced by the UK Government in November 2025. The UK Government has confirmed that after 2027-2028, the fee cap will continue to increase each year to reflect inflation. Your tuition fees will increase in line with the Government fee cap each year, and you should take this into consideration when budgeting.
We will confirm the level of future increases to you as soon as possible.
