Applications for the University of Edinburgh's Pre-University Summer School 2026 are now open!

We welcome applications from both international and UK students. Applicants must be aged 16-18 and considering applying, or have already applied to university.\

Our Pre-University summer 2026 programme is designed to deliver a taste of what to expect from university life.

Choose from a range of two-week courses across a number of subjects – from social sciences to design – all courses taught by experienced University of Edinburgh teaching staff.

So what are you waiting for... join us this summer in Edinburgh to experience a warm Scottish welcome, a safe and comfortable stay in our catered accommodation, and a fun social and cultural programme!
