Your tuition fee status will determine how much you pay in fees. We determine your tuition fee status based on information you supply during the application process.

The different fee status categories

The fees you have to pay will depend on:

What ordinarily resident means

Most students on an online learning programmes pay the same fee rate with the exception of EFI and PhD online degree programmes. Students on these programmes will pay the fee rate (home or international) based on their assigned fee status.

How we know your fee status

We will determine your tuition fee status based on information you supply about yourself during the application process.

If we cannot determine your fee status automatically, we will ask you to complete an online fee status questionnaire and supply more information. In this case you will see a query fee status (‘Q’) until you have submitted the fee status questionnaire and we have been able to decide your fee status.

Once you start your programme, your fee status cannot be changed.
