Who is it for?

The HR Induction is open to all new staff with HR responsibilities in the UAS, divisions and departments.

Session details

This in-person session covers the roles and responsibilities of the following teams:

• Employee Relations and HR Policy
• Equality & Diversity Unit
• Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing
• HR Systems and Analytics
• People and Organisational Development
• Recruitment and Reward

Duration

The induction lasts for three hours. Tea and coffee is provided.

Objectives

The session aims to help new HR staff to understand:

• How the University is structured
• Roles and responsibilities of HR
• Where you can go for help on different HR issues

This is also a great opportunity to meet other new HR staff from the University.
